About

Hi there! I’m Amy, the creator behind La Pluma Latina. I’m a writer, storyteller, and passionate advocate for Latinx representation in every form of storytelling. I spent my childhood split between the Bronx and Tennessee, navigating two distinct cultures that have shaped who I am today. Growing up with my Dominican and Puerto Rican roots in the heart of the Bronx, and then moving to Tennessee, I experienced the contrast between the fast-paced energy of the city and the slower rhythms of the South.

Writing became my escape and my way to understand my place in both worlds. But after moving to Tennessee, I started to feel a sense of loss in my identity—away from my family, my culture, and my traditions. It was through that disconnection that I realized how important storytelling was for me to reconnect with my roots.

La Pluma Latina is my journey back to those roots, a platform where I can celebrate Latinx culture and share the power of storytelling. Whether it’s creative writing, ghostwriting fiction novels, or copywriting for businesses, I’m here to help others express themselves and bring their stories to life in the most authentic way possible.

This site is about bridging cultures, telling our stories, and embracing our diverse identities. Thank you for being here to join me on this journey—I’m excited to share what’s to come!
